Introduction
Microsoft Forms is a powerful web-based application within Microsoft 365, that allows users to create shareable surveys, quizzes, and pools in minutes. Forms track participant responses visually through the dashboard — the dashboard provides a visual representation of the data, providing real-time results and analytics for your survey.
It was released by Microsoft in June 2016.

- Copy the link, put that link in an email or website. You could text it to someone. There is a QR code. You code grab this code and put it on your website
- Can give other people the ability to edit it. So it can be accessed by anyone
- You can treat it like a template and give someone a duplicate

Limitations of Microsoft Forms
- Limited to 100 questions.
- MS Forms has a limit of 100 questions per form (at the time of writing).
- Users can’t save a form for later or update a submitted response.
- Choice questions store only 60 options.
- 4000-character max on textual responses.
- In ranking questions, you can only have between 2 and 10 options per response.
- If you have a ranking question with 2 options, you’ll only be able to ask 50 questions. If you have one with 10 options, you’ll only be able to ask 20. This of course relates to your overall 100 question limit.
